PostageCalculator.ca
Canada Post letter postage, explained simply. Rates effective January 13, 2025.

About this site

PostageCalculator.ca exists because finding a simple letter price on Canada Post's website is harder than it should be. If all you want to know is "how much postage for this envelope?", you shouldn't need a parcel account, a postal code form, or a 200-page pricing guide.

The site is run from New Brunswick by a Canadian mail-services operator and online seller who mails letters and flat packages every day — including plenty of oversize lettermail — and checks these rates constantly in real work. The calculator, tables, and guides here are the reference we wished existed.

How rates are maintained

All prices come from Canada Post's published consumer prices for Lettermail™ and Letter-post. They are entered and checked by hand (never scraped), shown before tax, and re-verified whenever Canada Post announces a change — most recently for the rates effective January 13, 2025, confirmed unchanged in October 2026. Facts like postage rates belong to everyone; the writing, tools, and presentation here are our own.

Not Canada Post

This is an independent guide. We are not Canada Post, we don't sell stamps, and we can't help with a lost parcel or a delivery complaint — for those, contact Canada Post directly. For errors on this site, or questions about the calculator, email [email protected].
